My son has astigmatism and myopia, and we have been very meticulous about his eyewear for about ten years. Back home, I have his check-ups performed by a highly qualified professor. However, we needed a good doctor and a good optician here as well. The staff at Lighthouse—specifically Danny Banny—were incredibly helpful. We started by selecting a frame and discussing the lenses, and they promptly arranged a doctor's appointment for us. Dr. Omar Aborahma went above and beyond the typical role of an ophthalmologist; he answered all our questions and explained every detail regarding potential concerns we might have had. My son Atlas and I were so pleased with the visit that we felt completely confident in the accuracy of the prescription. We picked up the glasses last week. He is currently adjusting to the new prescription, but there don't seem to be any issues. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Omar and his entire team.

This has been my optometrist for years, but last night something went wrong with my eyes medically. I called when they opened and they had me come and got me in right away with a doctor, who was able to see my issue and also recommend some differences in my regular eye routines that would help me overall and prevent the issue from ever happening again. I have a contact bandage on my eye until it heals, which immediately made me able to see again without pain. All the girls at the front were helpful and attentive. I couldn't recommend any improvement. I'm so glad I waited for this office to open instead of going to urgent care. It was also WAY more affordable than urgent care.

My initial visit was in 2019. But I decided to go back directly Covid and a liver transplant. Very professional and the lady that helped me pick out my glasses was fun to talk to and was very professional

I was amazed at this place! Phone charger station, coffee & water section, nice selections of frames and I truly enjoyed my eye doctor (very professional) for a young man, and I can’t leave out my girls that ushered in friendliness as I stepped into the office! It was a very good experience going into Lighthouse Eye Care! I will return 🥰! Thank you 🙏

I stopped by for an appointment. staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I went in for my exam which was beyond thorough, with the latest equipment. Everything was explained to me in detail. Overall the service was tiptop and I am happy to recommend lighthouse eye care to anyone.

The number of eye testing machines was amazing the staff was hardworking working and very friendly the male eye doctor was very kind and knowledge this is the best eye care center in McKinney you can't get better care dave
